Job summary

Balloo Hire Centres in Belfast is seeking a Sales Representative to drive growth across plant and tool hire, warehousing and construction sectors. A permanent role with a competitive base salary, uncapped commission and a company vehicle awaits the right candidate.

You will manage key accounts, plan visits, ensure client retention, and develop pricing while coordinating with internal teams to secure stock and transport for customers. A full clean driving licence is required.

Qualifications

• Sales experience within plant and tool hire, material handling, logistics, warehousing or construction is desirable
• Proven ability to organise and prioritise a demanding workload
• Excellent communication skills and customer engagement
• Willingness to learn and develop with the business

Responsibilities

• Maintaining and growing existing key accounts
• Visiting existing customers to ensure high levels of service
• Ensuring customer retention and timely invoicing

Balloo Hire Centres is a leading provider of tool, plant and welfare equipment for businesses and DIY needs in Northern Ireland. Balloo Hire Centres is part of The Briggs Equipment Group and therefore can offer a local solution with corporate level support.

In this role you will be:

• Maintaining and growing existing key accounts
• Implementing a planned process of visits to existing customers to ensure a high level of customer service is attained.
• Ensuring customer retention is achieved and developed.
• Ensuring administration of key accounts is kept up to date and accurate.
• Liaising with key customer accounts team, to ensure invoices are settled promptly.
• Identifying possible new areas for sales, establishing, and maintaining relationships with potential clients.
• Securing stock on behalf of customers and arrange for transportation of same.
• Developing and maintaining pricing structure for key accounts.
• Developing and maintaining relationships with internal and external customers.
• Managing territory through market intelligence to maximise the use of equipment.

What will help you to excel in this role:

• Sales experience ideally within plant and tool hire, material handling, logistics, warehousing or construction (however not essential)
• Demonstrable experience of organising and prioritising a demanding workload
• Ability to engage with customers and have excellent communication skills
• Willingness to learn new skills and develop with the business.
• Full clean driving licence
