Job summary

Balloo Hire Centres in Belfast is seeking a HGV Class 2 Driver to join the transport team. You will deliver and collect hire equipment across Northern Ireland, perform daily vehicle checks, and maintain a clean and presentable vehicle, while staying health-and-safety aware in a fast-paced setting.

The role offers a permanent contract with 45-hour weeks (Mon–Fri plus Saturday AM every other week) and additional benefits including pension contributions and profit-share potential.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team.
• Solid team player with good interpersonal communication.
• Good geographical knowledge of Northern Ireland is advantageous.

Responsibilities

We have a new opportunity for a HGV Class 2 Driver to join our transport team in Belfast.

In the role you will be:

• Delivering and collecting a range of hire equipment from building sites, businesses, events, industry, and homes across Northern Ireland.
• Carrying out daily checks on your vehicle.
• Keeping your vehicle clean, tidy, and presentable at all times.
• Be health and safety conscious in a fun, fast-paced environment.
• All applicants must be age 25 or over for insurance purposes.

What will help you to excel in this role:

• Class 2 clean licence as a minimum
• Up to date Driver CPC and Driver Digi Tachograph card
• Excellent communication skills and team player.
• Good geographical knowledge of NI
