Job summary

Precept Recruit is recruiting for a Sales Support & Customer Service Administrator in Chesterfield. The role is office-based, five days a week, handling order processing and customer inquiries to ensure on-time delivery and a high standard of service.

You'll enter orders accurately, maintain records, and support a busy commercial operation while working with a collaborative team in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in sales order processing, sales administration, customer service administration, order management or high-volume data entry environments.
• Excellent accuracy and attention to detail.
• Strong IT and system skills.
• Confidence handling straightforward and complex customer orders.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage priorities.
• Methodical and organised approach with good communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Process customer orders accurately and efficiently.
• Respond to customer enquiries via shared inboxes.
• Review order information for accuracy and completeness.
• Work to daily processing targets and delivery deadlines.
• Liaise with internal teams to ensure orders are fulfilled correctly.
• Check colleague orders for accuracy after daily cut-off times.
• Update customer records and system information.
• Maintain a high level of attention to detail across tasks.
