The Green Recruitment Company is delighted to have exclusively partnered with a forward-thinking cleantech innovator on their journey to revolutionise the global distributed energy markets through their unique energy storage optimisation & monitoring product suite.

The business has a well-established, scale-up brand within the UK Cleantech Market, with numerous partnership opportunities ready to be converted.

Our client is seeking an experienced “deal closer” to work alongside the MD & CEO—converting deals/bids originated by the SLT into B2B technology sales opportunities & partnerships.

Responsibilities:
  • Act as a bid & sales specialist within business sales processes, collaborating with internal stakeholders to secure desired deals with the target customer base.
  • Proactively progress specific near-term qualified sales opportunities in the existing pipeline with target customers.
  • Understand the needs and requirements of prospective and existing customers from a commercial perspective, including pricing, deal structure, and contracting.
  • Collaborate with the Product department to align efforts with customer needs and provide feedback, facilitating meetings with target customers.
  • Work with in-house Legal specialists to contract with customers in a manner that enables future growth and up-sell opportunities.
  • Coordinate with the marketing department to increase brand awareness and communicate the company's value proposition to target customers.
Requirements:
  • At least 3 years of experience in Cleantech markets, ideally with BESS, Flex, or Smart Grid technologies.
  • Proven track record as a 'deal closer', preferably in a Software Solutions environment.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively across departments to close Bids.
  • Versatile, solution-driven, and forward-thinking commercial professional.
  • Excellent social and interpersonal skills with a proactive 'can-do' attitude.
  • Experience in start-up or scale-up environments is preferred.
