Overview

Sales manager / Business development manager, £36k - £42k for a commercial kitchen equipment company. This company is looking to expand and you will be a key part of this journey. The role focuses on developing the UK market and opening more doors in the commercial kitchen sector. Products include kitchen equipment, metal work tops, cookers, fridges, mixers and other kitchen equipment for Hotels, Restaurants, Pubs and food service establishments. The role is based from a showroom, with some days in the showroom and some site visits. You will upsell items to customers and maximise sales.

Responsibilities
  • Develop the company’s sales aligned with market trends and strategy.
  • Meet customers at the showroom and conduct site visits to secure sales.
  • Contribute to sales strategy and ensure outreach to the right contacts.
  • Perform standard salesperson duties at a development sales level.
Experience / Qualifications
  • Sales experience at the level of sales executive, sales manager or sales business development manager, with ability to sell kitchen equipment and build relationships with head chefs and owners.
  • Understanding of the hospitality sector and how its needs operate.
  • Ability to perform phone sales, in-person showroom sales and site visits as required.
  • The role involves developing sales for new patches and markets, with showrooms and a new region for the company.
  • Products include kitchen equipment for hotels, bars, pubs and restaurants.
