The Team: The Times has had a successful year, dominating the quality market with print and experiencing exponential digital growth. The brand has diversified into new channels like Times Radio and is delivering innovative cross-platform partnerships.

Your Role: You will sell display and content solutions across all Times platforms, including digital and print display, branded content, video, audio (including podcasts), and events. Your responsibilities include growing and developing client relationships, driving revenue, and providing excellent customer service.

The Role:

1. Drive revenue by selling market-leading solutions across all platforms within an assigned set of agencies and clients.
2. Maintain excellent relationships across all levels within your agency patch, effectively communicating the features and benefits of working with The Times & Sunday Times.
3. Respond to cross-platform briefs with high standards, incorporating all products.
4. Deliver proactive sponsorships and cross-platform initiatives to market.
5. Meet KPIs and maintain high sales activity levels.
6. Collaborate with internal teams to identify and sell new revenue opportunities.
7. Set ambitious growth objectives for your portfolio through strategic planning.

What we’re looking for from you:

1. Proven success in media sales across multiple platforms.
2. Strong understanding of agency structures, buying processes, and broad contact networks.
3. Knowledge of digital and print media, including display, branded content, social, programmatic, and operational delivery.
4. Ability to create compelling presentations and respond effectively to briefs.
5. Confidence in leading meetings and presenting to large groups.
6. Ability to analyze briefs critically and elicit pertinent information.
7. Strategic thinking and ability to collaborate across brands and teams.
8. Tenacity in sourcing clients, influencing decisions, and negotiating.
9. Experience in building cross-platform solutions based on data and insights.
10. Confidence in utilizing media research and measurement tools like Pamco, IPSOS, NRS, TGI.
11. Adaptability to changing environments and openness to new opportunities.
12. A passion for the role of news brands in society and the media landscape.
