We are seeking a driven, dynamic and experienced professional with a passion for the hospitality industry.
Responsibilities
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities and increase sales for Thornbury Castle Hotel.
- Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve revenue targets.
- Support Hotel service and strategy by regularly updating action plans and financial objectives.
- Attend industry events to promote the hotel and generate leads.
- Monitor market trends and competitor activities and adjust sales strategies accordingly.
- Work closely with the Hotel Manager and Management Company to ensure all strategies and campaigns meet the needs of the business.
- Manage and motivate the Sales and Events team, supporting them in achieving sales targets, handling calls and enquiries and producing event proposals.
- Develop and build relationships with new and existing customers to enable future bookings, through sales calls, FAM trips, industry events etc.
- Identify marketing opportunities and coordinate with the marketing team to create promotional material.
Qualifications
- A minimum of 3 years of experience working in hotel events/sales.
- A proven track record of achieving sales targets.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to be a strong team member and leader.
- On-site work with the availability to travel and be flexible with working hours according to business needs.
