Job description

Few places in the UK are experiencing the scale of transformation currently underway across Teesside. With the launch of the UK's first Freeport and billions of pounds being invested into green energy, advanced manufacturing and infrastructure, the region has become one of the country's most exciting commercial growth stories.

At the heart of it sits Hampton by Hilton Stockton-on-Tees. Perfectly positioned within the Tees Valley and just minutes from Teesside Freeport and Teesworks, the hotel is ideally placed to capitalise on the increasing demand for business travel, corporate accommodation and events across the region.

Managed by Aimbridge Hospitality EMEA and operating under the globally recognised Hilton brand, this is an exciting opportunity to join a successful hotel at a time of significant market opportunity and growth.

A Day in the Life of...
As Hotel Sales Manager, you'll be the commercial face of the hotel.

Working closely with the General Manager and wider leadership team, you'll develop and execute sales strategies that drive revenue, market share and profitability. You'll spend time identifying new business opportunities, building relationships with key corporate accounts and local stakeholders, and positioning the hotel as the first choice for both business and leisure travellers visiting the region.

You’ll analyse market trends, competitor activity and performance data to spot opportunities for growth, whilst confidently negotiating contracts and securing new business that delivers measurable results.

This is a highly visible role where you'll have genuine influence over commercial performance. You'll collaborate across departments to ensure revenue opportunities are maximised, guest expectations are exceeded and ambitious targets are achieved.

For a commercially-minded sales professional who enjoys building relationships, spotting opportunities and delivering results, there has never been a more exciting time to join the team.

What Do We Need From You?

We're looking for an experienced sales professional who combines strong commercial awareness with a genuine passion for hospitality.

You may already be a Hotel Sales Manager looking for your next challenge, or an ambitious sales leader ready to step into a broader commercial role. Either way, you'll be confident discussing business performance, identifying revenue opportunities and influencing decision-making at a senior level.

You’ll thrive on building relationships, generating new business and turning market opportunities into tangible results. Equally important is your ability to work collaboratively with operational teams, helping to create a commercially focused culture that drives performance across the hotel.

Experience within hospitality would be advantageous, but above all we're looking for someone with the commercial instinct, ambition and relationship-building skills to make an impact.

What's in it for you?

This is more than a hotel sales role. It's an opportunity to take ownership of a market full of potential and play a leading role in shaping the commercial success of a growing hotel.

Alongside a competitive salary and bonus opportunity, you'll benefit from hotel discounts across our portfolio, discounted food and beverage, industry-leading development programmes, flexible working options, enhanced wellbeing support, free parking, meals on duty and the chance to build a long-term career within one of hospitality's fastest-growing management companies.

Your Journey, Your Way

At Aimbridge, we believe our people are our biggest competitive advantage. That's why we're committed to creating opportunities for everyone to learn, grow and progress in their career.

Whether you're looking to deepen your commercial expertise, develop your leadership capability or take the next step towards a wider regional or cluster role, you'll find the support, development and opportunities to help you get there.
