Job description

We have a fantastic opportunity for an Area Hire Manager to join our Portakabin team covering the Birmingham region. Based from our Hire Centre in Birmingham, you will be responsible for developing and promoting the Company’s hire business, including our full range of products and services, and ensuring the Division’s Customer Charter is followed. The role is target-driven with a key focus on order winning activities.

Role Details
  • Location: Birmingham
  • Contract type: Permanent
Role Responsibilities
  • Deliver set targets for the catchment area, including contract value, order numbers, visits, and other KPIs.
  • Conduct structured business development, local and national campaigns, including cold calling, to achieve order targets.
  • Prepare quotations and drawings based on customer requirements.
  • Generate orders by visiting customer sites.
  • Maximize added value by promoting the full range of Building Services.
  • Implement customer care programs to ensure satisfaction, business continuity, and referrals.
  • Develop strong customer relationships through effective communication, ensuring excellent service levels that lead to repeat and new opportunities.
