Job summary

Greenvolt Next is hiring a Sales Manager for Solar PV & Battery Energy Storage (BESS) in Warrington. You will generate and qualify new leads, drive sales opportunities and own the commercial cycle from prospecting to contract award.

The role requires managing tenders, submitting compliant bids, negotiating terms and maintaining client relationships across industrial and utility-scale opportunities. Travel to projects will be required.

Qualifications

• A technical, engineering or related degree is beneficial but not essential.
• Proven experience in business development, sales, account management or commercial leadership roles.
• Strong lead generation, pipeline management and opportunity conversion skills.
• Experience leading complex commercial proposals or tender submissions.
• Proficient in CRM systems, ideally Microsoft Dynamics.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain a pipeline of commercial, industrial and utility-scale renewable energy opportunities.
• Generate new business through proactive prospecting, networking, referrals, events and market engagement.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, consultants and key industry stakeholders.
• Qualify prospects and convert opportunities into secured project orders.
• Own the sales process from lead generation through to contract negotiation and project award.
