Job summary

Greenvolt Next UK is seeking a Sales Manager for Solar PV and Battery Energy Storage to lead commercial opportunities from prospecting to contract award. You will generate new business, manage tender processes and build strong client relationships across industrial, commercial and utility-scale projects.

You will coordinate cross-functional teams, drive bid strategy, and optimise proposals to win orders while maintaining CRM records and stakeholder engagement. Based in Warrington with UK travel.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in business development, sales, or commercial leadership.
• Strong lead generation, pipeline management and opportunity conversion skills.
• Experience leading complex proposals or tender submissions.
• CRM proficiency, preferably Microsoft Dynamics.
• Experience in Solar PV, wind energy, battery storage or other renewables.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain a pipeline of commercial, industrial and utility-scale opportunities.
• Generate new business through prospecting, networking and market engagement.
• Build and maintain relationships with customers, consultants and stakeholders.
• Qualify prospects and convert opportunities into secured orders.
• Own the sales process from lead generation to contract award.
• Lead tender preparation, submission and bid strategy activities.
• Coordinate internal stakeholders to deliver compliant, competitive proposals.
• Review technical and commercial assumptions to optimise solutions.
• Negotiate commercial agreements and support contract execution.
• Maintain accurate records in Dynamics CRM.
• Represent Greenvolt Next UK at meetings and events.
• Travel to customer sites and project locations as required.
