Position: Sales Lead - Application Services (Remote, UK)

NTT DATA is currently looking for a Sales Lead - Application Services to join our growing team in the UK.

Role Overview

The Sales Lead - Application Services will be responsible for driving growth in the UK&I Market, focusing on the Banking & Financial Services industry. This role involves identifying and researching potential clients, engaging prospects, describing our services, and closing sales. The ideal candidate will leverage industry knowledge and consultative selling techniques to define solutions and build strong client relationships.

Location

Remote from your home office within the UK, with travel as necessary to meet clients.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Provide technical sales expertise for digital products, applications, and solutions.
  2. Develop sales strategies, solutions, and support digital transformation initiatives.
  3. Utilize industry knowledge to build relationships and understand customer needs, providing tailored solutions to drive revenue.
  4. Engage with prospects and clients using consultative selling to uncover needs and recommend solutions.
  5. Collaborate with solution teams to develop customized client solutions.
  6. Define client value propositions using industry KPIs.
  7. Stay informed on industry trends to offer strategic guidance.
  8. Build and maintain lasting client and partner relationships.
  9. Assess application of digital products to meet client needs and prepare detailed specifications.
  10. Support sales efforts through consultative activities.
Basic Qualifications
  1. At least 8 years’ experience in consulting or IT services sales.
  2. Proven success negotiating and closing large deals in professional services.
  3. Minimum 5 years’ experience selling application development, architecture, cloud migration, or modernization services.
  4. Over 10 years of industry experience, with several focused on Banking & Financial Services.
Preferred Skills
  1. Bachelor’s degree or equivalent (minimum 12 years of work experience).
  2. Experience leading large, strategic sales opportunities.
  3. Ability to engage with senior leadership at Fortune 500 companies.
  4. Strong leadership, strategic thinking, and communication skills.
  5. Experience in deal shaping and business development.
  6. Ability to interact with senior leadership internally and externally.
