Job summary

Motorpoint Ltd in Leeds is seeking a Sales Executive to deliver a first-class car buying experience in a fast-paced environment. You will engage customers, present options and guide them through the journey from greeting to handover.

The role offers a £20,000 base plus uncapped commission with an realistic OTE of £40,000–£50,000. 40 hours a week, 5 days out of 7, with weekend work required.

Qualifications

• Full UK driving licence required.
• Previous sales experience is essential.
• Ability to meet monthly targets.
• Experience selling financial products is a plus but training provided.
• Ability to quickly establish rapport with customers.
• Weekend work is required.

Responsibilities

• Meet, greet and build rapport with customers.

The Role: Sales Executive

Salary: £20,000 basic plus an uncapped performance based commission structure (realistic OTE of £40,000- £50,000)

Location: Leeds

Contract Type:Permanent

Hours: 40 hours.

Shift Pattern: 5 days out of 7, with two consecutive days off during the week. Weekend working is required.

Our Sales Executives are vital to our business growth and ensuring our customers get a first-class service. As a Sales Executive you will help us to shake off all of those outdated car industry clichés and help us drive into the fast lane towards becoming the most desired car retailer.

What will you be getting up to?

• Meet, greet and build a natural rapport with customers arriving at store

• Deliver a no-pressure sales service to customers to identify and anticipate needs

• Complete face-to-face quotes on chosen and recommended vehicles in line with customer's needs

• Upsell relevant products and finance where relevant

• Work towards monthly, individual and team targets

• Complete the handover process with customers ensuring a high level of customer service

• Liaise with other key departments to ensure our customers receive outstanding levels of service, whilst managing their expectations

What do we need from you?

• A full UK driving licence is essential

• Previous sales experience is essential

• Ability to work towards monthly targets

• Experience selling financial products would be beneficial however training will be provided

• Ability to establish rapport and build relationships with customers quickly

• Ability to be flexible as weekend work will be required
