Job Description:

At Taylor Wimpey, we’re all about building new, thriving communities and giving our customers an excellent experience at whatever stage of the home-buying journey they’re in. We’ve built a passionate and supportive Sales Team with great customer service at its core, and we’re looking for a sales superstar to join us.

The successful candidate will deliver an exceptional customer experience to buyers of Taylor Wimpey homes. Working closely with the Sales Manager, Sales Team, and other stakeholders, you will also be driven to meet and exceed sales targets.

What you will do:
  • Manage the development sales areas, including the Sales Information Centre and Showhomes, ensuring they are maintained and presented to the highest standards.
  • Handle all customer enquiries efficiently via website, phone, email, or walk-ins, accurately recording details and requirements, and converting these into site visits or appointments.
  • Qualify customers by establishing their current position, needs, timescales, and financial situation. Develop credible solutions to secure reservations, maximizing revenue and margin.
  • Promote the use of recommended mortgage brokers and solicitors to ensure smooth purchasing processes.
  • Secure customer reservations to meet sales targets, working with legal teams and admin to ensure smooth progress to completion.
  • Maximize sales of optional upgrades, assisting customers through the selection, processing orders, taking payments, and ensuring installations before completion.
  • Serve as the primary contact for customers, providing high-quality service to maximize satisfaction and recommendations.
  • Complete administrative and reporting tasks according to company policies and deadlines.
  • Monitor competitors’ offerings, pricing, and marketing activities to keep Taylor Wimpey competitive and meet sales targets.
  • Conduct new home inspections, address issues with site management, and assist customers with their move-in, including aftercare at scheduled intervals.
  • Ensure health and safety regulations are followed on site for customers, colleagues, and visitors.
  • Adhere to company procedures, performance standards, and the Sales Manual.
What you will have:
  • Excellent organizational and self-management skills, with pride in helping build communities and supporting customers during an important life event.
  • Exceptional customer service skills, respectful and considerate, with a drive to achieve sales targets.
  • Computer literacy.
  • A full UK driving license and access to a car are essential.
  • Sales experience in housing is advantageous but not required.
  • Availability to work weekends and bank holidays.

We welcome applications from candidates seeking full-time, part-time, or flexible working arrangements. Our team values diversity, including different working hours and remote options.

We foster an inclusive culture that values diversity, creating a better workplace and stronger outcomes. We are committed to fair treatment and respect for all applicants and employees. If you need reasonable adjustments during the application process, please contact us.
