We are working with an onshore and offshore fine chemicals company. Their chemical products serve the oil and gas, transport, marine and hygiene markets. They are seeking a Sales Executive for a field-based role.

We are working with an onshore and offshore fine chemicals company. Their chemical products serve the oil and gas, transport, marine and hygiene markets. They are seeking a Sales Executive for a field-based role.

This role will cover a territory in Inverness and the surrounding area. You will work primarily with onshore customers, traveling regularly to support them in their need for fine chemicals. The role involves attending meetings, some short and some longer, often on industrial parks or in areas with prospective or new companies. Opportunities to visit and engage with potential customers will be frequent.

The chemicals in the portfolio are used in various applications such as anti-corrosion, cleaning, de-icing, dichlorination, and others, totaling around 300 chemicals.

We are primarily seeking a motivated salesperson with a positive attitude, who can work hard to achieve results.

The Role Will Focus On
  1. Developing the territory by increasing sales to existing customers and seeking new ones through in-person meetings.
  2. Identifying customer requirements and matching chemical products accordingly.
  3. Constantly seeking new business opportunities and representing the company positively.
  4. Achieving sales targets as agreed with the line manager.
  5. Covering designated areas according to company standards, maintaining customer records, and reporting sales activities.
  6. Attending sales meetings and training courses for ongoing development.
  7. Expanding the customer base and maintaining regular sales with existing clients.
  8. Following company procedures and optimizing face-to-face selling time.

While experience in the fine chemicals market is beneficial, formal chemistry education is not essential. Success depends largely on personality skills and drive. Candidates must have prior sales experience with a proven track record of success.
