Job description

Lookers VW Northallerton is recruiting for an ambitious and passionate Sales Executive to join our friendly team on site. Specialising in both new and used car sales, you will work alongside our sales team to provide Lookers' first-class customer service.

Joining our enthusiastic Sales Executives, you will be a team player with exceptional communication skills to build rapport with colleagues and customers. You will report to Gary Oliver (Sales Manager) at the dealership, who will help develop your knowledge and experience along with the team, allowing you to build your skills and establish a strong career within the industry. This is an opportunity not to be missed!

Our Sales Executives are the key points of contact and pay close attention to detail to understand customers' wants and needs.

Working Hours

44 hours on a rota basis; Mon-Fri 09:00-18:00, Sat 09:00-17:00, Sun 10:00-16:00 (with one day off in the week)

Responsibilities
  1. Communicating with customers via email, telephone, and in person
  2. Suggesting suitable vehicles based on customer needs
  3. Arranging and accompanying customers on test drives
  4. Negotiating the final price for the sale
  5. Completing the relevant paperwork for each sale
Qualifications

The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, be self-motivated, and passionate about their work. You will be expected to meet targets, so ambition and hard work are essential.

Previous experience in a similar position with brand training within the motor trade is preferred but not essential, as we are always looking for new/fresh talent to join our team. You must hold a full UK driving license, as you may be expected to drive some of the most prestigious cars on the market!
