Job summary

Autohorn at Clifton Moor, York, is seeking a motivated Sales Executive to handle inbound enquiries and convert interest into a sale. You will understand customer needs, guide them through the process, and deliver an outstanding experience from first contact to the point of sale.

The role is Mon-Fri, 37.5 hours. Basic salary £29,941 with realistic OTE £40,000–£45,000. Benefits include private healthcare, pension, free on-site parking, breakfast and fruit, plus ongoing training.

Qualifications

• Previous experience within a sales environment.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
• Positive, target-driven attitude.
• Strong IT skills, including Microsoft Office.
• Experience using CRM systems would be beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Responding to inbound telephone and online enquiries.
• Understanding customers needs and recommending suitable vehicle solutions.
• Guiding customers through the complete sales process.
• Building strong relationships with new and existing customers.
• Maximising opportunities to sell additional products, including insurance.
• Contacting existing customers when theyre ready for their next vehicle.
• Keeping accurate records using our CRM system.
• Delivering an outstanding customer experience on every enquiry.

Monday to Friday, 37.5 hours per week

• 8.00am : 4.00pm
• 8.30am : 4.30pm
• 9.00am : 5.00pm

This isnt a cold calling role.

You will be speaking with customers who have already made an enquiry and are genuinely interested in our products and services. Your role is to understand what theyre looking for, guide them through the process and deliver an outstanding customer experience from the first conversation through to the point of sale.
