Job summary

Your Recruitment Coach Ltd in Sevenoaks, Kent, is seeking a commercially minded Sales Executive to join a busy showroom team. You’ll help convert enquiries into sales, nurture relationships and drive showroom performance from first contact to final order.

The role combines customer service with proactive sales activity, including quotations, follow-ups, and upselling opportunities, with hours from Monday to Friday and a Saturday rota.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in sales, showroom sales or a customer-facing commercial role.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• A confident, proactive approach to telephone sales and customer follow-up.
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
• A commercial mindset, with the ability to recognise and maximise sales opportunities.
• The ability to work collaboratively while taking ownership of your own sales activity.
• Good IT skills and experience using CRM systems or order-processing software.

Responsibilities

• Convert telephone, email and face-to-face enquiries into sales.
• Manage the full sales journey, from initial enquiry and samples through to quotations, follow-ups and closing orders.
• Build strong customer relationships to encourage repeat business and referrals.
• Identify opportunities to increase order values through product recommendations and project-led selling.
• Manage quotations, follow up outstanding enquiries and keep the sales pipeline moving.
• Work closely with the Showroom Manager and Landscape Consultant to support customer projects.
• Ensure sales orders, CRM records and customer information are accurate and up to date.
• Maintain high standards of showroom presentation, displays and samples.
• Make proactive outbound calls and contacting customers during quieter periods to generate further business.

Showroom Sales | Customer Service | Sales Growth

£28,000 – 32,000pa plus commission

Monday – Saturday 8.30am – 5.00pm (rota 5 days)

Working hours and location

• Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30 am – 5:00 pm.
• Saturday: Working on a rota basis.
• Location: Assigned showroom.
• Reporting to: Showroom Manager.

This is a hands-on sales position where every enquiry counts. You’ll be expected to prioritise answering incoming calls, respond promptly to customers, maintain accurate records and actively follow up quotations to convert opportunities into orders.
