Job summary

WALLACE HIND SELECTION LIMITED is seeking a Sales Executive for our Corby base to support the Commercial Project Manager. This new role drives opportunities from inquiry through order, coordinating CRM, quotations, and document control for railway rolling stock projects.

You will manage live opportunities, maintain accurate CRM data, prepare commercial documents, and organise SharePoint records while working with a tight-knit team on impactful rail projects.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in MS Office including Excel and Outlook.
• Experience using SharePoint or a similar document management system.
• Experience maintaining structured records or a CRM.
• Ability to research information independently and accurately.
• Confidence to assist with quotations, commercial comparisons and margin calculations.

Job description

We’re looking for a Sales Executive to join our business based in Corby and work closely with our Commercial Project Manager. This is a brand-new role, created to provide the organisation research and commercial support needed to keep every sales opportunity moving from that first inquiry right through to order and delivery.

BASIC SALARY:

£30,000

JOB DESCRIPTION:

This is a new role, so you'll have the opportunity to make it your own and become a key part of how the sales function operates.

As our Sales Executive you will:

• Keep track of live opportunities, making sure deadlines aren't missed and ensuring our pipeline is accurate
• Ensure our CRM is maintained and updated.
• Prepare quotations, proposals and commercial documents
• Look after the SharePoint, keeping technical documents, photographs, manuals, drawings, maintenance records and specifications organised and easy to find

PERSON SPECIFICATION:

Sales Executive, Sales Representative, Internal Sales - Rail, rolling stock

You’ll need to be comfortable managing several things at once and, importantly, be someone who doesn't need constant direction.

You’ll ideally have:

• Good experience with Microsoft Office, including Excel and Outlook
• Experience using SharePoint or a similar document management system
• Experience maintaining structured records or a CRM
• The ability to research information independently and accurately
• The confidence to assist with quotations, commercial comparisons and margin calculations
