pladis Global is seeking a Sales Executive to support the delivery of strategic growth plans and strengthen customer-facing trading relationships. You will work within a fast-paced sales team to drive customer performance, execute promotional plans and help achieve sales and profit objectives.

The role offers exposure to internal and external stakeholders, with clear career development opportunities within commercial sales.

In 2021, pladis proudly opened the doors to our vibrant global hub, the MIU Campus. Located in the heart of Chiswick Park, West London. Just a short 5-minute walk from Gunnersbury Station, our campus is nestled within 33 acres of beautifully landscaped gardens, offering a welcoming and inspiring environment for all. Chiswick Park is home to both our UK and Global Corporate teams, bringing together diverse teams across the business.

pladis was established in June 2016 and brings together the much loved, global brands of Godiva, McVitie’s, Jaffa Cakes, and Mini Cheddars under one pladis umbrella, to form a global giant in biscuits, chocolate, and confectionary. The UK &I pladis region employs 5,000 people across 13 locations in the UK&I (nine manufacturing / distribution sites and four office locations), and is an anchor market for the business

What will this role achieve?

As Sales Executive, you will play a key role in supporting the delivery of our strategic growth plans and customer-facing trading relationships.

Working within a fast-paced and collaborative sales team, you will help drive customer performance, execute promotional plans, and support the achievement of sales and profit objectives. This role offers excellent exposure to both internal and external stakeholders, providing a strong platform for career development within commercial sales.

What will be your key deliverables?

• Management of the total promotional plan across multiple product portfolios, with the opportunity to take on additional responsibility.
• Day-to-day management of key customer accounts, developing profitable commercial plans and building strong working relationships.
• Production and maintenance of customer reports to support trading terms, commercial agreements, and performance tracking.
• Ownership and management of our sales forecasting system and promotional planning process.
• Proactive management of the invoicing process, ensuring accuracy and timely completion.

This is an exciting hands-on role within a fast-paced team which will provide great experience of:

• Selling some of the biggest and most exciting brands in the market.
• Customer interaction & relationship building
• Development of a wide internal and external contact matrix
• Creating, implementing, reviewing, and adapting business plans to deliver and exceed budget objectives.
• Work closely with our wider commercial team including Marketing, Demand Planning, Supply Chain, and Finance to deliver customer and business objectives.

What will the interview process be?

• Initial Telephone call with Talent Acquisition
• 1st stage interview – 45 minutes competency-based interview based on our company values and your experiences.
• 2nd stage interview – 90 minutes – a technical interview to understand your skill set/case study or presentation interview.
