Company Overview:Adventure Base is an Adventure Travel Company based in Chamonix, France, and the UK. We specialise in trekking, mountaineering, and skiing trips in the Western Alps. We believe life is better when you spend time in the mountains, and our mission is to help more people experience these adventures now and for the next generation.

Role Overview:We are seeking a dynamic and driven Sales Executive to join our growing team. As a Sales Executive, you will play a crucial role in driving our sales efforts, from upselling and chasing leads to calling customers and securing repeat bookings. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated individual to contribute to our business development and grow with the company.

Things to note:We are a small team who constantly adapt and change. We haven’t got all the answers and probably never will but we work each day to improve. If your expectation is for order and a consistent approach to work tasks, then this probably isn’t for you. If you’re ok with a bit of discomfort as we ‘work it all out’ then you’ll fit just fine.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Upselling:Identify opportunities to upsell additional services and products to enhance the client's adventure experience.
  • Chasing Leads:Proactively follow up on leads to convert inquiries into bookings.
  • Calling Customers:Engage with potential and existing customers via phone to provide information, answer questions, and close sales.
  • Repeat Bookings:Encourage repeat business by building strong relationships with clients and providing exceptional service.
  • Weekly Sales Reporting:Prepare and present weekly sales reports to track performance and identify areas for improvement.
  • Business Development:Assist in identifying and pursuing new business opportunities to expand our customer base and market presence.
  • Projects:Working on key projects that the business needs at that time.

Qualifications:

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong organisational and multitasking abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and take initiative in a fast-paced environment.
  • Passion for adventure travel and the outdoors.
  • Proficiency in using CRM software and other sales tools.

Requirements:

  • Must be willing to relocate to the South West of England and work from our base in North Devon.
  • Ability to work flexible hours as needed to meet sales targets and customer needs.
