Job summary

Harbour Hotels in Brighton is seeking a Sales & Events Coordinator to join the sales team and manage a variety of enquiries from professional meetings to weddings. You will need a warm, personable nature, a proactive approach, and strong planning skills.

Previous hotel experience and Opera knowledge are preferred, with full training provided for the right candidate. You'll work within a luxury portfolio known for excellent service, and enjoy on-site training, progression opportunities, and staff

Qualifications

• Previous hotel sales or events experience preferred.
• Strong planning and organisational skills.
• Excellent written and spoken communication.
• Knowledge of Opera PMS is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Handle incoming event enquiries and coordinate bookings.
• Build client relationships to secure meetings and weddings.
• Coordinate with hotel teams to deliver successful events.

The role…

We have a superb opportunity for a Sales & Events Coordinator to join the sales team. As Sales & Events Coordinator you will be required to handle a variety of event enquiries ranging from professional meetings to private functions and weddings. You should have a warm, personable nature, a can do attitude and an exceptional eye for detail. You will be confident, enjoy client relationship building and have clear planning and organisational skills. You will also be passionate, driven and focused on achieving optimum results with a proactive approach to your work. Excellent communication skills both written and spoken are an essential. Previous hotel experience is preferred together with knowledge of Opera, although full training will be given to the right candidate.
