Working within our bright and energetic sales office, you could play an influential role within an organization that thrives on and is committed to shared success.

You will be working on pricing opportunities, ranging from £2k to >£250k, with guidance and support from our existing Estimating team.

Key Responsibilities of the Sales Estimator:

• Commercially appraising inbound customer enquiries.
• Identifying project requirements using specifications and drawings, and liaising with customers.
• Producing and providing pricing schedules on project requirements, with colleagues and/or suppliers.
• Presenting proposals to prospective clients for consideration.
• Supporting the wider sales department with tendering opportunities and price information.
• Running project handover meetings to operations departments for orders secured.
• Visiting customers for face-to-face meetings and sales negotiations.

Skills & Experience Required:

• Positive “can do” attitude with a willingness to learn.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Charisma and time management abilities.
• Using persuasive language to present and win.
• Good working knowledge of MS Word & Excel (experience with CRM/MRP would be an advantage).
• Proven track record with 10 years’ experience of estimating within fabrication and/or contracting settings (preferred but not essential).
• Full UK driving license.
