What we need from you as a Sales Estimator:

12 months working in a role that involves measuring, or estimating - experience in the flooring industry would be ideal, but not essential, can be from other similar industries
12 months retail/customer service experience
Experienced speaking to customers on the phone, via email, and in person
Able to use a computer and do admin work
Have the ability to multitask and be organized
Able to work as part of a team and on your own initiative
Have an enthusiastic approach to work
Able to work flexible across 6 days of the week
Driving licence is essential
Desirable:

Experience in the carpet and flooring industry
What the role involves:

This is a mixed role and you will be involved in completing quotes, house call measures, providing estimates and also areas of shop work; admin, customer service, face to face customer sales, answering the phone
Execute sales in the shop showroom and at the customers property
Receiving deliveries and moving them to the correct location in the shop
Placing orders and ordering of stock
Looking after contracts and meeting all deadlines
General tidying of the shop
Salary: £26,000 - £28,000 per year, (pro-rata for part time) depending on age and experience, plus bonus.

Hours: Core hours of the business are 9am – 5pm Monday to Saturday and Sunday 10am – 4pm.

Full-time - Monday to Sunday up to 6 days a week working between 8am – 5.30pm, up to 40 hours per week. With some flexibility needed as some services are provided out of hours – measurements etc.
Part time would be working 2-3 days per week, to include a Saturday. Hours to be discussed at interview stage.
