Experience

Must have hands-on experience in:

• NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in Mechanical Engineering discipline
• Possibly a maintenance or service engineer seeking a more ‘off the tools’ role
• Ex-Forces background can be advantageous but not essential - Royal Electrical Mechanical Engineers (REME), RAF, Army, Navy, Marine Engineer

Duties

• Home-based, carry out surveys and inspections on a wide range of industrial, commercial, and manufacturing plant and machinery
• Ensure equipment is safe, fit for use, and complies with legislation (LOLER, PUWER, PSSR, COSHH)
• Write and complete reports
• Manage your own work with varied & interesting companies and regions to visit
