Job summary

Ernest Gordon Recruitment Limited is seeking an internal sales professional for a manufacturing-focused role in Birmingham. You will be the go-to person for quotes, managing customer relationships and coordinating with purchasing and manufacturing, supported by full training.

The role is office-based, Monday to Friday 8:00–16:00 with an early finish every Friday; flexible start times and training are provided along with company benefits.

Are you from an Engineering/ Manufacturing background or similar looking to move into an off-the-tools internal sales role where you will become the go-to person for manufacturing quotes, maintaining relationships with customers with full training to familiarise yourself with their industry.

Do you want a role within a friendly office environment which also offers on-the-job training and flexible start/ finish hours?

In this role you will be the main point of contact for customers, taking quotes for manufacturing orders, maintaining contact and liaise with purchasing and manufacturing to ensure customer requirements are met. Customers are primarily in the engineering field. This role is office based Monday-Friday with a 1pm finish Fridays and flexible start times.

This role would suit an Engineering/ Manufacturing background or similar looking to move into an off-the-tools internal sales role join a specialist manufacturer as the technical expert.

The Role:

• Primary point of contact for the customers of the manufacturing components
• Taking customer orders including quoting parts
• Working internally to ensure customer requirements are met
• Monday - Friday 8-4pm with an early finish Friday
