Ernest Gordon Recruitment seeks a Sales Engineer (CAD) in Birmingham. The role blends engineering know-how with an off-the-tools internal sales focus, acting as the go-to person for manufacturing quotes and maintaining customer relationships with full training.

You will handle quotes, liaise with purchasing and manufacturing to meet customer requirements, and join a specialist manufacturer as the technical expert. Flexible hours and early finish Fridays are part of the package.

Qualifications

• Engineering or Manufacturing background required.
• Interest in an off-the-tools internal sales role.
• Ability to quote parts and manage customer relationships.

Responsibilities

• Primary point of contact for customers of manufacturing components.
• Taking customer orders including quoting parts.
• Working internally to ensure customer requirements are met.
• Monday - Friday 8-4pm with an early finish Friday.
