Job description

Rain for Rent International is a leading provider of temporary liquid storage solutions. Our high-quality equipment such as tanks, filtration units, pumps, retention systems, and safety products are a big part of our fleet.

Rain for Rent is a family-owned company that has been operating in the United States since 1934 and has a proven track record in engineering liquid storage systems and an unrivaled reputation for handling complex projects safely, reliably, and cost-efficiently. In addition, Rain for Rent International has been operating in Europe since 2014, supplying mobile storage tanks, filtration units, spill containment systems, and safety accessories to the petrochemical and chemical industries, as well as the construction, environmental, and civil sectors.

Tasks
  • Your area of operation is primarily in the south of the UK.
  • Develop a growth strategy focused both on financial gain and customer satisfaction.
  • Conduct research to identify new markets and customer needs in the petrochemical production, refining, construction, environmental remediation industry, or any industry needing liquid handling and storage solutions.
  • Arrange business meetings with prospective clients.
  • Promote the company’s products and services at regular trade markets.
  • Prepare sales contracts ensuring adherence to law-established rules and guidelines.
  • Regular supervision of the local depot (material supervising, check of quality, check of material status).
  • Keep records of sales, revenues, invoices, etc.
  • Provide trustworthy feedback and after-sales support.
  • Build long-term relationships with new and existing customers.
  • Supervise statutory health and safety regulations.
  • Keep records of all incidents and other circumstances.
  • Perform other tasks that occur in daily business.
Requirements
  • Educated with a focus on marketing or comparable training.
  • Mechanical experience preferred.
  • Experience in the pump industry and/or industrial cleaning industry.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office package.
  • Driving license.
  • Previous knowledge of the rental sector would be desirable.
