Job summary

Thornhvac is seeking a Sales Engineer to drive specification and orders across Watford, High Wycombe, Stevenage and Reading. You will engage M&E consultants and contractors, promote heat pumps, and push orders through to close. The role blends technical insight with proactive sales activity.

Candidates with commercial renewables or heating sales backgrounds will fit well, with CPD delivery and site surveys providing opportunities to affect projects from concept to completion.

Qualifications

• Background in commercial renewables or heating sales or a technical role for a contractor or manufacturer.
• Experience calling on M&E consultants/contractors and distributors.
• Ability to value engineer projects and adapt to product range.

Responsibilities

• Call on M&E consultants and M&E contractors to specify products such as heat pumps.
• Follow up orders to close deals and drive revenue.
• Value engineer projects and introduce new products where relevant.
• Conduct CPD sessions and site surveys with contractors.

THE ROLE -Sales Engineer

As aSales Engineer you'll be calling on M&E Consultants and M&E Contractors and Distributors to specify the product, including heat pumps, and follow up the order to close the deal.The role is focused on the M&E Contractors.

Equally, you'll have the opportunity to value engineer projects and break specification with some new additions in their product range.

You'll be involved in CPD's to consultants and also site surveys with contractors.

THE PERSON -Sales Engineer

A successful background in commercial renewables or heatingsales, or in a technical role for a Contractor or Manufacturer,e.g. Estimator, Contract or Project Engineer.

THE PACKAGE -Sales Engineer

• Basic to£58K depending on experience.
• Bonus / Commission £20-25K. p.a.
