Euro Projects Recruitment Ltd. is recruiting for a Sales Engineer for a well-established, family-owned engineering business that designs and manufactures filtration systems for industrial and commercial clients.

The role offers a 39-hour week, full-time permanent contract, and a package of £40,000–£50,000 base, Commission (£15k–£20k OTE), plus a BMW company car and benefits. The Sales Engineer role covers the West Midlands / Southwest (and parts of Wales); Leicester is the base.

£40,000 – £50,000 + Commission (£15k–£20k OTE) + BMW Company Car + Benefits

• Sales Engineer job role, Contracts Engineer job role, Proposals Engineer job role, Solutions Engineer, job role, Tendering Engineer job role, Commercial Engineer job role.
• 39-hour week – Full-time, permanent role – Monday to Thursday 8am–5pm, Friday 8am–1:30pm (some flexibility)
• Well-established, family-owned engineering business specialising in the design & manufacture of filtration systems for industrial and commercial clients.
• Strong reputation for improving factory efficiency, safety and environmental performance, supported by a hands‑on and supportive leadership team.

Your background as a Sales Engineer:

• This would suit a Sales Engineer, Contracts Engineer, Applications Engineer, Proposals Engineer, Project Engineer or similar who enjoys a bit of sales / wants to pivot.
• A commercially minded individual with a background in engineering, preferably within the same industry or similar (industrial equipment / dust extraction / filtration etc).
• Comfortable working in a consultative, solution‑led sales environment
• Confident engaging with customers on‑site and understanding technical requirements
• Strong communication skills with a practical, hands‑on approach
• Full UK driving licence (ideally no points)

Sales Engineer responsibilities:

• Manage predominantly inbound and warm sales enquiries (minimal cold calling)
• Work closely with customers to understand requirements and convert enquiries into orders.
• Visit customer sites to survey, measure and specify engineered solutions
• Liaise with internal engineering and service teams to deliver the right solution

This Sales Engineer role will mainly cover the West Midlands / Southwest / possibly parts of Wales. The offices are based in Leicester, so we are very open to location given the nature of the role – but ideally West Midlands & surrounding areas.
