Salary:£95,000 base + Performance Bonus + Car Allowance + Executive Benefits

We are seeking a Senior Business Development Director to lead our Data Centre vertical across EMEA. This is a high-impact role with both strategic and hands-on responsibility: building a winning growth strategy, leading a specialist business development team, and opening new opportunities with end users, consultants, contractors, and OEMs across the region.
You'll play a pivotal role in expanding market presence, increasing revenue, and cementing our position as a trusted partner in the data centre ecosystem.
Refine and execute the EMEA-wide strategy for the data centre vertical to accelerate growth.
Lead, inspire, and develop a team of business development managers across the region.
Build strategic relationships and win new business with key stakeholders in the data centre sector - including hyperscalers, colocation providers, consultants, OEMs, and contractors.
Identify high-value, 'new from new' opportunities and drive them through to successful close.
Work closely with supply chain, technical, and commercial teams to develop bespoke, high-value solutions.
Represent the business at major industry events and lead initiatives to enhance brand recognition and influence.
Monitor market trends, analyse commercial performance, and refine approach based on insight and data.
Forge strong partnerships with suppliers to broaden product and service offerings.
Report directly to executive leadership with responsibility for high-level performance metrics.
Extensive experience in business development or commercial leadership within the data centre, critical infrastructure, or industrial technology space.
Proven ability to drive growth in complex, solution-led environments - particularly in 'new business from new customer' situations.
A strong network across EMEA within the data centre or industrial sectors.
Expertise in navigating complex stakeholder environments and leading commercial negotiations.
Financial fluency, including business case development and P&L understanding.
Strong leadership qualities, with experience hiring, developing, and managing high-performing sales or BD teams.
Willingness to travel across the EMEA region (50-75%).
£95,000 base salary
