The Role:
As a Sales Development Manager, your main focus will be delivering outstanding sales results and value-added concepts to a regional customer base of 30-40 accounts across the Midlands and North, with an emphasis on acquiring new customers. You will leverage your deep understanding of the tyre industry and market dynamics to position brands as leaders within your segment.
Responsibilities include:
- Achieving volume and profit targets through pre-defined agreements with regional customers.
- Maintaining detailed customer profiles for strategic planning and business potential assessment.
- Developing and delivering value-added initiatives tailored to customer needs.
- Managing sales objectives monthly and quarterly, negotiating to sustain growth and profitability.
- Using market knowledge to increase business shares by brand and product category.
- Preparing and delivering compelling presentations to customers and colleagues.
Requirements:
- Comfortable being field-based, covering the Midlands/North area of the UK, with some overnight stays.
- Proven sales track record with strong negotiation skills.
- Highly motivated, creative self-starter with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Proficiency in English language and numeracy.
- Intermediate skills in Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and general computer usage.
- Experience in the tyre or automotive industry is advantageous.
