Job summary

The Belfry Hotel & Resort is seeking a Sales Coordinator to join our dynamic Sales team in the United Kingdom. You will work alongside Account Directors and the Commercial Director to ensure seamless client communications and organise events, exhibitions, and key production data.

We are looking for a candidate with at least 2 years in a mid-to-large hotel sales environment, with strong verbal and written communication skills and a can-do attitude.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a mid to large hotel sales team.
• Excellent verbal & written communication skills required.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with Sales Account Directors and Commercial Director to ensure smooth client communication.
• Organise Fam Trips, showrounds, client entertainment events.
• Support with exhibitions, industry events attendance.
• Update account production information and manage preferred agent production.
• Assist with team communications and diarised schedules.
• Maintain listings for Venue Directory & Cvent for performance.
• Generate sales team reports.
• Assist with on-site appointments.

The salary for this role is £26,436 per annum, plus tips.

About you

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years’ experience in a mid to large hotel sales team and possess excellent verbal & written communication skills.

In addition, you will be:

• Methodical - accurate & ability to work on own initiative, with outstanding attention to detail.
• Computer literate, with experience of hotel PMS. i.e. Delphi & Opera, Microsoft & proficient in Excel
• Sales focused and enthusiastic, with excellent customer service skills.
• Flexible and capable of working well within a team.
• Can do attitude, ability to deal with different personality types

About the Role

As Sales Coordinator, you will work alongside the Sales Account Directors and the Commercial Director to ensure seamless communication between both the client and internal stakeholders. Other responsibilities are as follows:

• Organisation of Fam Trips, showrounds, client entertainment events
• Support with the organisation and team attendance of Exhibitions & Industry Events
• Keep Account production information up to date and manage preferred agent production
• Support the sales team with client & team comms
• Keep Agent intranets up to date with Belfry info
• Manage the listings for Venue Directory & Cvent for optimum performance
• Support the Commercial Director with team comms, meetings & diary management
• Sales team reporting
• Support with appts on site
