Job summary

Croudace Homes in Swindon is seeking a proactive Sales Consultant for our Highworth development. The role runs Thursday–Monday, 10am–5:30pm, and involves guiding buyers from first enquiry to completion with exceptional service.

You will welcome customers, explain pricing and local area details, conduct viewings, manage reservations, and coordinate with the Sales Manager and Site Manager to ensure smooth processes and high customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of sales experience in the new homes industry.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills; customer-focused.
• Highly organized, flexible, reliable, and able to manage workload.
• Willingness to work 10:00–17:30, including weekends.

Responsibilities

• Welcome customers, identify needs, and provide guidance on new homes and local areas.
• Respond to enquiries, dispatch brochures, manage CRM entries, and update availability.
• Conduct property viewings and support selections; keep customers informed through build and legal steps.
• Input reservations and property details accurately; issue relevant correspondence.
• Monitor progress to meet exchange deadlines and complete pre-completion handovers.
• Maintain high presentation standards in the marketing suite and on plots.
• Perform competitor research, prepare monthly market reports, and suggest pricing/sales actions.
• Collaborate with the Sales Manager and Site Manager while following health and safety policies.

We are currently looking for a Sales Consultant to join our team, based at our development in Highworth, Swindon. The hours associated with this role are 10am-5.30pm, working Thursday-Monday. We’re looking for a proactive and customer-focused Sales Advisor to guide prospective buyers through the journey of purchasing a new home. In this role, you’ll provide exceptional service from first enquiry to completion, ensuring accurate information, smooth processes, and a high-quality experience at every stage.

What you’ll be doing

• Welcome customers, identify their needs and provide knowledgeable guidance on new homes, pricing, and local area information.
• Respond promptly to all enquiries, dispatch brochures, manage CRM entries, and maintain up-to-date availability information.
• Conduct property viewings, support customers with selections (fixtures, fittings, finishes), and keep them informed throughout the build and legal process.
• Accurately input reservations, cancellations, and property details into the Sales System; produce and issue relevant customer correspondence.
• Monitor reservation progress to ensure exchange deadlines are met and complete pre-completion, handover procedures, and documentation.
• Maintain high standards of presentation across the marketing suite, stock plots, signage, and customer-facing materials.
• Carry out competitor research, provide monthly market reports, and recommend pricing or sales actions to support targets.
• Collaborate closely with the Sales Manager and Site Manager through regular meetings and ensure compliance with Health & Safety, policies, and customer charters.

Skills & knowledge you’ll bring

• 1-2 years of sales experience gained within the new homes industry.
• Excellent communication and relationship building skills, along with a passion for the business and the desire to act as an ambassador for the Company.
• A highly organised approach, flexibility, reliability, resilience and the ability to effectively manage your own work load.
• The ability to work 10am – 5.30pm including weekends
