Job summary

Croudace Homes in the Southeast of England seeks a skilled civil engineer to join our in-house design consultancy. You’ll contribute to infrastructure, foundations, highways, drainage and external works for residential developments, guiding design from concept to site start.

You’ll coordinate multi-disciplinary teams, manage design information, and drive outputs to strict programmes with a focus on quality and value.

Qualifications

• Hold a Civil Engineering degree (desirable) or equivalent through relevant experience.
• Experience as an Engineer in consultancy or in-house design for a housebuilder.
• Ideally MICE Chartered or Incorporated; support for qualification available.
• Experience designing infrastructure for residential developments.
• Ability to lead design information and liaise with consultants and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Lead design and delivery across multiple stages of the technical design process.
• Coordinate multi-disciplinary consultant teams to progress projects toward site start.

Skills & knowledge you’ll bring

Hold a Civil Engineering degree (desirable) or equivalent through relevant working experience

Experience within the role of an Engineer, either within a consultancy or a housebuilder with in-house design capability

Ideally MICE Chartered or Incorporated (support available for those working towards professional qualification)

Experience in preparing and reviewing detailed designs for infrastructure, foundations, highways, drainage and external works associated with residential developments

Experience coordinating multi-disciplinary consultant teams and managing the technical design process to ensure projects progress efficiently toward site start

Ability to manage and track design information, proactively liaise with consultants and stakeholders, and drive technical deliverables in line with programme requirements

Strong IT skills including knowledge of packages such as Microsoft Office, AutoCAD, PDS and FLOW (or similar)
