Job summary

YPP in Leeds is seeking a Sales Consultant on a fixed-term 12‑month contract to cover maternity leave. The role focuses on customer service, property viewings, and tenancy administration, reporting to the Senior Sales Consultant or Sales Manager.

You will work closely with maintenance and accounts teams in a busy letting environment. Ideal candidates will have strong interpersonal skills, a passion for tenant experience, and a track record in sales and negotiations.

Qualifications

• Minimum GCSE grades C or above in maths and English or equivalent.
• Good working knowledge of IT.
• Previous experience in a Lettings / Property related role.

Responsibilities

• Meet monthly KPIs and deadlines while delivering excellent customer service.
• Greet customers and conduct property viewings with prospective tenants.
• Prepare tenancy documents and ensure accurate entry of details.
• Chase missing documents and payments, recording all items.
• Coordinate with Lettings, Maintenance and Accounts teams to support processes.
• Assist with receptionist and customer service duties as needed.

Job title: Sales Consultant

Terms: Full time; Fixed-Term Contract (12 month Contract) with potential of becoming perm;

Monday - Friday; 9am - 5.30pm

About the Role:

YPP are not the same as any other letting agencies, who mainly focus on sales. We strongly focus on customer service & building relationships with our tenants, who come from all over the world, looking for their new home.

As a Sales Consultant you will be negotiating signings and carrying out viewings on our luxury apartments after consulting with the client on their living needs & requirements.

You will report to the Senior Sales Consultant or Sales Manager, whilst closely working with our other consultants, the maintenance and marketing teams.

Not every working day is the same in this exciting business!

Daily Duties Include:

• Working with monthly KPIs and deadlines
• Meeting and greeting customers
• Communication with tenants face to face, via email and phone, WhatsApp, WeChat
• Conducting property viewings with potential tenants
• Assembling tenancy papers/contracts and ensuring all relevant details are entered correctly
• Chasing outstanding documentation & payments as and when required and ensuring all documentation and payments received are recorded correctly
• Using our systems and softwares to input tenancy details and calendar management
• Setting up parking spaces agreements
• Providing improvement feedback to managers throughout the company
• Supporting and actively participating in receptionist & customer service representatives’ tasks when needed
• Conducting move out inspections, taking pictures and filling out the relevant paperwork
• Handing out move in/out packs & keys and checking all relevant documentation in on file
• Working closely together with the Lettings Coordination team, Maintenance and Accounts departments
• Minimum GCSE grades C or above in maths and English or equivalent
