We’re looking for a Sales Compensation Analyst to join our Sales Compensation Team at Personio. In this role, you will own the monthly operations around Personio’s variable compensation end to end, driving process optimization and automation, and act as a trusted partner for our Sales and Partnership Leaders across variable compensation queries and analytics. Additionally, you will collaborate with Strategy, Planning & Operations, Legal, Finance, and People Operations Payroll to ensure successful execution of the new year setup.

Role Responsibilities: What you'll do
  • You will own the monthly operations around Personio’s variable compensation end to end, responsible for preparing monthly, quarterly, and bi-annual calculations for various roles, including reportings and forecastings (accruals, reversals, payroll), and collaborating with stakeholders across People, Legal, and Finance teams.
  • You will drive continuous improvement of commission processes, models, and calculations, and evaluate improvements of commission systems and databases.
  • You will develop work plans, synthesize relevant data, lead analyses, and develop final recommendations for projects.
  • You will serve as a trusted advisor to Sales and Partnership Leaders on variable compensation queries, analytics, and business decision proposals.
  • You will support the annual planning process, updating sales compensation plans aligned with business targets.
Role Requirements: What you need to succeed

You are a passionate, data-driven expert with at least two years of experience in sales operations, compensation, or related functions, ideally in SaaS or online B2B/B2C companies. Your excellent communication skills enable collaboration across different levels and perspectives.

  • Experience with tools like Xactly, Salesforce, or Tableau is a plus.
  • You enjoy working with data, building models, and understanding drivers of business performance.
  • You are a critical thinker, eager to optimize employee experience through operational improvements.
  • You aim to make a difference and be perceived as a true business partner, enabling future growth from a variable commission perspective.
