The Opportunity

We’re seeking a driven Sales Development Manager to spearhead sales of our air source heat pumps, solar panels, and fabric energy-saving measures to B2C clients in and around Suffolk. This is an exciting opportunity for a results-oriented sales professional with a passion for renewables to join a growing company, with uncapped earning potential and the chance to develop into a team leadership role.

Key Responsibilities
  • Proactively engage B2C clients (e.g., homeowners) in Suffolk through multiple home visits, averaging 3 days per week in the region, to design, present and close sales.
  • Sell our portfolio of renewable energy solutions, including solar panels, air source heat pumps, and tailored energy-saving measures.
  • Build and nurture client relationships to secure new business and maintain high conversion rates.
  • Utilize our CRM system to manage leads, track sales pipelines, and ensure accurate reporting.
  • Learn and master the functionality of new products, confidently presenting their benefits to clients.
  • Collaborate with our retrofit coordination team to align sales with energy efficiency surveys and projects.
  • Meet and exceed sales targets, contributing to company growth and regional sustainability goals.
  • Demonstrate adaptability and a commitment to personal development, with the ambition to grow into a team leadership role.
What We’re Looking For
  • Proven B2C Sales Record: Demonstrated success in direct-to-consumer sales with a strong conversion rate, ideally in renewables, home improvements, or similar sectors.
  • Computer Competency: Proficient in using CRM systems, Microsoft Office, and other digital tools for sales tracking and reporting.
  • Adaptable and Eager to Learn: Enthusiastic about developing new skills, mastering product functionality, and embracing personal growth, with the ambition to build and lead a sales team.
  • Renewables Background (Preferred): Experience in renewable energy sales is a plus, but not essential—full training will be provided.
  • Product and CRM Capability: Able to quickly learn new product specifications and effectively use a CRM to manage client interactions.
  • Own Vehicle: Must own a reliable vehicle (business mileage reimbursed) and hold a valid UK driving licence.
  • Travel Commitment: Comfortable with a remote role requiring multiple home visits, averaging 3 days per week in Suffolk, with occasional travel to Norfolk.
  • Passion for Sustainability: A genuine interest in renewable energy and making a positive environmental impact.
