Job summary

Smith+ Nephew is seeking a Sales Associate for our Sports Medicine (SPM) portfolio on a 12-month fixed-term contract, covering Kent and East Sussex. The role is field-based, delivering product training, providing technical support, and building strong relationships with healthcare professionals across hospitals and clinics to drive adoption and improve patient care.

Success comes from clinical curiosity, commercial awareness, and a passion for customer excellence.

Qualifications

• Degree level education, ideally within a science based discipline or equivalent experience.
• Strong relationship building and stakeholder management skills.
• Excellent planning and organisational capability with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Willingness to travel extensively across the territory and spend majority of time in the field.

Responsibilities

• Deliver product training and provide technical support to healthcare professionals across hospitals and clinics.
• Identify new business opportunities and build strong relationships with key stakeholders to drive adoption of the Sports Medicine portfolio.
• Support implementation and optimisation of treatment pathways and collaborate with colleagues to maximise opportunities in the territory.

We are looking for a Sales Associate to join our Sports Medicine (SPM) business on a 12 month fixed term contract, supporting customers across Kent and East Sussex and helping drive the adoption of innovative sports medicine technologies that improve patient care and clinical outcomes. What will you be doing?

In this field based role, you will work closely with healthcare professionals across hospitals and clinical settings to support the successful use of our Sports Medicine (SPM) portfolio. Your days will be spent delivering product training, providing technical support, identifying new business opportunities, and building strong relationships with key stakeholders.

You will help customers implement and optimise treatment pathways, support product adoption, and work collaboratively with colleagues across Smith+ Nephew to maximise opportunities within your territory. Through a combination of education, commercial focus, and customer partnership, you will contribute to both improved patient outcomes and business success.
