Job summary

CPM Acquisition Corp. is seeking a Sales Associate to greet customers, assess needs, and close sales, while coordinating with account managers and processing quotes in SAP and Salesforce.

You will input opportunities in Salesforce, review orders with the commercial team, and travel for training when required. The role requires strong communication, integrity, and teamwork across CPM's Engineered Solutions and other units.

• Experience in customer service, sales support, or project management is a plus.

• Knowledge of SharePoint, Salesforce, or other CRM systems, and field service management software is preferred.
• Fluent in English; proficiency in a second language is beneficial but not required.
• Willingness to travel occasionally, domestically or internationally, up to 5% of the time.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers, understand their needs, and close sales transactions.
• Coordinate with account managers via calls and emails.
• Obtain costing quotes from vendors and apply selling prices per price lists.
• Enter opportunities into Salesforce following procedures.
• Review purchase orders for accuracy with account managers.
• Record sales orders in SAP and send confirmations.
• Request SAP item numbers through the Item and BOM Specialist.
• Submit purchase requests through SAP and align with procedures.
• Perform SAP Business One tasks and other admin duties as assigned.
• Adhere to safety policies (Crown & OSHA) and customer guidelines.
• Collaborate with CPM units remotely and travel to other offices as needed.
• Travel to customer or vendor sites for training.
• Support the commercial team across all four segments.
