Job summary

CPM Acquisition Corp. is seeking a Sales Associate (Level 1) to assist customers, deliver exceptional service, and help achieve sales goals. You will greet customers, identify needs, recommend products, and close transactions across the organization.

You will collaborate with account managers, review quotes and orders in SAP and SharePoint, and enter opportunities into Salesforce. Travel to customer or vendor sites for training may be required.

Qualifications

• Experience in customer service, sales support, or project management is a plus.

• Fluent in English; second language helpful but not required.
• Willing to travel occasionally, up to 5% domestically or internationally.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers, understand needs, and close sales transactions.
• Actively communicate with customers and account managers via calls and emails.
• Obtain vendor quotes through purchasing, apply prices per guidelines, and prepare quote documents.
• Enter opportunities into Salesforce following procedures.
• Review purchase orders for accuracy with account managers.
• Record sales orders in SAP; send confirmations to customers and stakeholders.
• Request SAP item numbers through Item and BOM Specialist.
• Submit purchase requests through SAP and discuss concerns with leadership.
• Perform SAP Business One tasks and other administrative duties.
• Adhere to safety policies (Crown & OSHA) or customer guidelines.
• Collaborate with Engineered Solutions and CPM units remotely and travel to other offices.
• Travel to customer or vendor sites for training.
• Support the commercial team across all four segments.
