Job summary

CPM Acquisition Corp. is seeking a Sales Associate to support customers and account managers, greet customers, understand needs, suggest products, and close sales. You will work across Engineered Solutions and CPM units, with occasional travel.

The role emphasizes proactive communication, accurate quote handling, and SAP/CRM system usage to drive revenue and customer satisfaction in a dynamic environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in customer service, sales support, or project coordination is advantageous.
• Ability to collaborate across teams to deliver value and improve efficiency.
• Strong communication skills and adaptability in a matrixed environment.
• Willingness to travel domestically or internationally up to 5%.
• Proficiency with SAP Business One or similar ERP systems preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers and account managers, responding to calls and emails promptly.
• Review quotes, orders, and purchase records in SAP, SharePoint, or project folders.
• Obtain vendor quotes, apply prices, and prepare quote documents.
• Enter opportunities into Salesforce and support order processing in SAP.
• Coordinate with purchasing and commercial leadership on procurement and pricing.
• Maintain accurate records and support the commercial team across CPM units.
• Travel to customer or vendor sites for training as needed.
