Job summary

CPM Acquisition Corp. is seeking a Sales Associate at Level 1 to support customers, deliver excellent service, and contribute to sales goals. You will greet customers, assess needs, recommend products, and close transactions with accuracy.

Work with account managers and ERP tools to quote pricing, enter opportunities in Salesforce, and process orders. Occasional travel to customer sites is expected.

• Experience in customer service, sales support, or project management is a plus.

• Fluent in English; proficiency in a second language (European or Asian) is beneficial but not required.
• Willingness to travel occasionally, domestically or internationally, up to 5% of the time.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers, understand needs and close sales transactions.
• Respond to calls and emails; coordinate with account managers.
• Obtain pricing quotes from vendors and apply prices per guidelines.
• Enter opportunities into Salesforce; review purchase orders for accuracy.
• Record sales orders in SAP and send confirmations to stakeholders.
• Request SAP item numbers through the Item and BOM Specialist.
• Submit purchase requests through SAP and discuss concerns with leadership.
• Perform SAP Business One tasks and other admin duties as assigned.
• Adhere to safety policies (Crown & OSHA) or customer guidelines.
• Collaborate with Engineered Solutions and CPM units; travel to offices as needed.
• Travel to customer or vendor sites for training.
• Support the commercial team across four segments.
