Title: Sales Associate

Location: Selfridges - Birmingham

Reports To: Concession Manager

Customer Service

  • Greeting and assisting local and international customers, proactively introducing them to the brand, collections, and products;
  • Listening to and identifying customer needs;
  • Ensuring adherence to customer service policies to deliver sincere and impeccable service, creating memorable experiences;
  • Developing effective sales pitches;
  • Applying complementary and additional sales techniques;
  • Providing after-sales service, handling customer dissatisfaction and complaints with suitable solutions;
  • Preparing for sales and promotional events.

Clienteling

  • Building customer loyalty through personalized follow-up and ongoing contact;
  • Monitoring and developing the store's customer portfolio using CRM tools.

Store Organization

  • Key holder responsibilities for opening and closing the store, as applicable;
  • Managing checkout operations and cashing up when necessary;
  • Ticketing and stock replenishment as needed;
  • Ensuring efficient store operations;
  • Maintaining product displays in line with brand standards;
  • Assisting with stock takes and stock control, including restocking suggestions.

REQUIRED PROFILE

  • Enthusiastic, reliable, energetic self-starters with at least 3 years of experience in luxury retail;
  • Recognized for exemplary behavior, dynamism, autonomy, and proactivity;
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, customer-oriented with excellent listening skills, and able to work well in a team;
  • A college degree in fashion or related retail industry preferred, but not mandatory;
  • Experience with retail POS systems and key holder responsibilities is advantageous;
  • Passion for luxury retail and customer service is essential;
  • Brand ambassador experience and language skills in Mandarin, Cantonese, Japanese, or Korean are pluses.
