Job summary

H&T Group Ltd in Cardiff is seeking a Store Colleague to be the face of our leading pawnbroker network, delivering friendly, expert support to every customer across our 285+ stores.

You’ll receive full training, a starting rate of £12.75 per hour rising to £13.44 after training, and the chance to earn discretionary bonuses up to £2,000 per year based on KPIs, with flexibility across Monday to Sunday and 30 hours weekly.

Qualifications

• No pawnbroking experience required; genuine interest in people and willingness to learn.
• Strong customer-service orientation and professional appearance.
• Multilingual skills are a bonus but not required.

Salary: Starting rate £12.75 per hour, increasing to £13.44 once full training has been completed

The opportunity to earn up to £2,000 extra each year in discretionary bonuses, which are pro-rated and based on performance against key KPIs.

About The Role

As a Store Colleague at H&T, you’ll be the face of our leading business, providing a warm welcome and expert support to every customer in one of our 285+ stores. You will take the time to understand customer needs, offering tailored solutions and ensuring they leave with the best possible outcome.

You don't need experience in pawnbroking, just a genuine interest in people, a strong sense of integrity, and a willingness to learn.

We'll provide full training and support to help you build confidence and succeed in a fast-paced environment where no two days are ever the same.
