Job Purpose:

You will play a key role in the success of your store by collaborating with instore colleagues and our UK Sales Team to provide a memorable customer experience to professionals & DIY enthusiasts. You will help maximise the sales and market share of AkzoNobel products and accessories in your store and carry out customer deliveries to homes and businesses.

This is a part time 20 hr per week role, and you need to be available to work shifts between 1pm and 5pm Mon-Fri. You will also work some Saturday shifts (8am to 4pm) on a rotational basis, with time off in lieu. Please note you may be required to work out of our Eastleigh Branch on occasion.

Job Responsibilities:

1. Play an active part in engagement planning & monthly store meeting sessions.
2. Ensure customers receive a warm welcome, an informed conversation & personalised proposal.
3. Use our client service tools to ensure a consistent customer experience.
4. Support your store’s monthly customer contact plan.
5. Follow the merchandising plan to restock the shop floor.
6. Load the van & plan delivery routes.
7. Develop your skills & encourage colleagues to do so using our training tools.

Job Requirements:

1. Proven experience in a customer service/retail role.
2. Valid driving licence.
3. Enjoys a collaborative working environment where supporting colleagues is key.
4. Calm under pressure.
