The Ambulance Care Assistant (ACA) plays an important role in helping people receive the care they need. This role requires empathy and compassion, skills you will develop during our two-week initial training and development programme, with support from our expert team.
As an Ambulance Care Assistant with Patient Transport Services, you'll transport elderly, sick, and vulnerable patients to and from medical appointments and between healthcare facilities, demonstrating compassion during times of vulnerability. We work together to ensure every journey supports our community, the NHS, and our patients.
This vital role involves providing excellent care, ensuring safety and patient welfare, and being prepared for any situation through comprehensive training.
