Poundland is seeking a Sales Assistant to be our brand ambassador on the shop floor, delivering a friendly shopping experience for customers.

You will help keep the store stocked, assist with deliveries, handle tills with accuracy, and maintain a safe, tidy and welcoming environment. No prior retail experience is required; training will be provided to help you start your retail career with Poundland and grow into roles like Team Leader.

Qualifications

• Retail or customer service experience is helpful but not required.
• Attention to detail on tills and in a busy shop environment is important.
• Training provided to help you grow with Poundland.

About The Role

Join us here atPoundlandas a Sales Assistant and you’ll be our brand ambassador on the shop floor, helping create a great shopping experience for our customers every day.

You’ll be part of a friendly, energetic team, keeping the store stocked, giving fantastic customer service, supporting deliveries, making sure the checkouts run smoothly and ensuring the environment is safe, tidy and welcoming.

A can do, friendly approach in a team environment is what we need for this role. Having an organised approach with good attention to detail, especially on the tills, is key. Retail or customer service experience is great, but not essential, we’ll unleash your potential providing the training to get you up to speed as you’re a key part of our success.
