Role: Sales Assistant / Internal Sales Executive

Location: Leeds

Sector: Building Materials / Plumbing & Heating Supplies / Builders Merchants

This successful branch is looking to recruit an enthusiastic and experienced Sales Assistant / Internal Sales Executive to join their busy sales office. The ideal candidate will have experience working in builders merchants or the construction supplies industry.

This is a very important role for our client. We need a proactive, hungry sales professional who will go above and beyond, not just order processing.

You will interact with customers over the phone, email, and face-to-face, asking questions, learning about their projects, handling quotation inquiries, building rapport, and upselling where possible. You should be able to think on your feet and demonstrate sound knowledge when called upon.

The role also involves working on quotations, generating and following up on quotes, and converting them into orders. We seek a confident individual with high levels of customer service.
