Job summary

Leisure Lakes Bikes in Bristol is seeking a Sales Assistant to join our expanding Bristol team. You will help customers on the shop floor, provide product advice, and support workshop operations to ensure a smooth customer journey.

The role offers competitive hourly rates (£12.71–£13.31 DOE) with a sales bonus, 28 days holiday, staff discounts, and Cycle to Work benefits. Regular weekend shifts are required across seven days as we launch a new store in Feb 2027.

Qualifications

• Retail or customer service experience preferred.
• Interest in cycling helpful.
• Able to work weekends and flexible shifts.

Responsibilities

We are looking for the following positions to be filled:

• 2 Full Time Sales
• 1-2 Part Time Sales

Role Requirements

As a Sales Assistant, you will play a key role in delivering excellent customer service and supporting the day-to-day operation of our store. You will be working on a busy shop floor, assisting customers with product advice, answering questions, and helping riders find the right solutions for their needs.

Your Responsibilities Will Include

• Providing outstanding customer service and product knowledge
• Operating our workshop diary and booking system
• Using the EPOS till system
• Managing stock and assisting with stock takes
• Liaising with manufacturers and suppliers
• Undertaking general shop duties to support the smooth running of the store

Working Hours

Our stores operate seven days per week, depending on location. Team members typically work an average of 35-40 Full Time and 16-24 Part time hours per week across seven days. Regular weekend and bank holiday working will be required as part of the rota. Split shifts will be required.
